DQV has what many consider to be the greatest SNES story ever told. You play as “Hero” the silent protagonist, who as a young boy travels with his father on a journey to find a legendary hero. Fate intervenes with tragedy and Hero is sent on a path full of hardships. As you grow older and more skilled, you meet many characters during your journey. Two of those characters you have the ability to marry. You must choose your bride to be, and start a family of your own, all while searching for your mother. DQV features the ability to recruit monsters into your party, similar to the “Pokémon” series. Recruit beasts to strengthen your party while searching for answers and eliminating the unseen evil.
